For Women Like You International is dedicated to supporting women in the USA who are seeking fertility treatments. We understand the challenges and costs associated with fertility treatments, and we offer grants and financial assistance to make these treatments more accessible.
Fertility issues can have a significant impact on women, couples and families. Apart from being a difficult-to-talk-about topic, pregnancy loss and infertility can cause unbearable pain and sorrow. Furthermore, the medical costs can be overwhelming.
Fertility treatments include several medical interventions that help couples achieve pregnancy when natural conception is difficult. Some of the common fertility treatments include Ovulation Induction, Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), In-vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Assisted Hatching, Donor Eggs or Sperm, Surrogacy, Gestational Carrier, Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) and Surgical Interventions.
For Women Like You International was created to be a beacon of hope for women struggling with infertility. Since most insurance facilities don’t cover fertility treatments, we support women of all backgrounds in the USA through financial assistance that can be utilized for fertility treatments. Our mission is to positively impact the fertility journey by offering awareness and financial assistance.
In the rural areas of Tanzania, we focus on empowering women through education support. We believe that education is a catalyst for change, and we provide resources and assistance to help women access education and navigate complex challenges.
Our efforts in Tanzania involve providing support, resources, and access to life-changing skills to transition from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
Our mission is to continue pressing forward and empowering Tanzanian women. We are helping women to fight for their rights and meet their needs. We are also bringing women together to learn life, career, and vocational skills in a safe place. Once enrolled in our program, each woman earns a monthly stipend which is a critical component that enables her to take part.
Women improve their income-earning potential with new skills that are in demand. They learn about their legal rights and gain knowledge of health and nutrition. The result: empowered women who are self-sufficient and willing to create positive change for themselves, their families, and their society.
More than 70% of women and girls in Tanzania experience physical and/or sexual violence. In Tanzania, women also lack freedom with regard to reproductive health. They are prevented from enjoying education and employment opportunities due to high rates of early marriage and teenage pregnancy. Access to information about birth control is hindered by those in power, resulting in women not being able to make informed decisions about themselves and their families. There is also a significant gender gap in monthly income, with female mean monthly income being almost half of that of males in Tanzania. To top it all, women are also disadvantaged when it comes to gaining access to asset and property ownership and financial services. All these factors contribute to poorer mental, physical, emotional, and economic health for women in Tanzania.
Under these circumstances, the fight for equality and justice remains a vital necessity for countless women in Tanzania. Abuse knows no socioeconomic barriers, and the path to recovery can be fraught with obstacles. Limited access to legal representation, financial hardship, and a complex legal system can create a daunting landscape for survivors seeking accountability and closure.
Our hearts lie with the women of Tanzania who have endured the trauma of physical and emotional abuse. We stand beside them, offering a comprehensive aid program and educational resources. This empowers them to rebuild their lives with dignity and reclaim control of their futures.
Across Africa, countless women and girls face a harsh reality. Impoverished circumstances often intersect with violence, creating a devastating situation. Access to healthcare, psychological support, legal protection, and avenues for justice remain desperately limited.
For Women Like You International is determined to break this cycle. Our Tanzanian program empowers survivors by providing a safe space, legal assistance, and the tools they need to heal and rebuild. This journey towards self-determination isn’t just about individual transformation; it’s about strengthening communities where all women can feel safe and empowered. Looking ahead, we envision extending this vital support system to other African nations.
The current situation for women in Palestine is complex and faces several challenges, particularly due to the ongoing conflict. The recent escalation in violence has disproportionately affected women and girls. UN reports indicate a high percentage of civilian casualties in Gaza, with women and children making up a significant portion. Displacement, lack of access to essential services, and heightened risk of violence are all major concerns.
Furthermore, UN experts have expressed alarm over credible allegations of human rights violations and gender-based violence against Palestinian women and girls, including rape, arbitrary detention and violence.
In Palestine, we stand with women in need, providing support in areas such as healthcare, education, and empowerment. Our goal is to empower women to lead healthy, fulfilled lives and make positive contributions to their communities.
The struggle for a life free from violence knows no borders. For Women Like You International stands shoulder-to-shoulder with Palestinian women who have faced physical and emotional abuse. We offer a lifeline of legal support and educational resources to empower them to reclaim their lives and seek justice.
